Bonjour Betches!
I was hoping to blog more often, but the wifi hasn’t been as available as we hoped. But the Junk Food Baby Europe 09 Mini Early Spring Tour is off to an amazing start!!
We flew for a long time, got pretty delirious, met our label face to face for the first time, and drank Bordeux until we passed out. The next day (i think?) we played the final night of a 10th Anniversary of an amazing venue called l’Astrolabe in Orleans, France. Not only was it our first show in Europe, not only was it our first show in ages without the band, but its our first show in about a year and a half! …. And of course we killed it! 200 french kids yelling “C’est Le L!” We definitely brought the Lexicon Party overseas.
While we are out here, ITC scratch champion DJ Flip from Dublin Ireland is backing us. We love him. Bewbs. Check him out on MySpace. Also check out our new favorite band, We Are Success. We will be jumping on stage with them on their show in Paris on April 2nd…check out their myspace for more info!
Next stop? To London! Unfortunately we aren’t playing there this trip but we are shooting a video for our next single, Snap. We are working with London based production company Grain Media, and the treatment for the video is sick!!!!! We can’t wait.
So, a two day shoot in the UK, and then back with DJ Flip for three days in Greece! Thesoloniki and Athens, and falafel and gyros, of course…
i’ll keep the updates coming. and we are shooting video, so i’ll get that posted to!
